Assistant for Individuals with Neurodiverse Conditions

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Assistant to join our team at one of our partner schools in Bromley. As an Autism Support Assistant, you will work closely with young people who require support with their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide individualized support to students with Autism, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
- To create a safe and inclusive environment that promotes emotional well-being and social interaction.
- To develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and school staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- To contribute to the development of strategies and plans to support students with Autism in academic and personal settings.
Requirements:
- A First-Class Bachelor's Degree from a leading UK University.
- Prior experience working with young people in an educational capacity.
- Sensitivity to emotional dysregulation and a strong knowledge of safeguarding practices.
- Patience and empathy for individuals who may not respond to mainstream teaching methods.
