Laboratory Analyst

As a Laboratory Technician at Boskalis, you will be responsible for the management and testing of soil samples, offering the opportunity to build your knowledge and experience in our busy laboratory environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and checking samples against proforma and booking into the laboratory system.
• Carrying out sub-sampling in accordance with test schedules and logging in accordance with relevant standards.
• Becoming competent in basic laboratory testing, including moisture content, PSD sedimentation, plasticity index, and particle density.
• Understanding the importance of sample handling and storage in accordance with ASTM and ISO standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An A-level standard in Chemistry or Geology or a related subject.
• The ability to become familiar with testing procedures and standards.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment.
• A good command of written and spoken English.
