Join Our Team as a Qualified Social Worker

We are seeking experienced social workers to support our children and young people across Devon. Our Children's Front Door is the central resource for the whole of Devon, receiving all safeguarding and child protection enquiries. The Front Door is staffed with professionals from various agencies, including police, health, education, and probation. These professionals share information to ensure early identification of potential significant harm and trigger interventions to prevent further harm or safeguard children's welfare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and review information from various agencies to decide the most appropriate way to support a family and ensure the needs of children are met.
  • Trigger interventions to prevent harm or safeguard children's welfare, working closely with the Front Door team.
  • Collaborate with professionals from different agencies to share information and respond to a child's needs quickly and efficiently.
