Electrical Department Lead

Nescot College is recruiting an accomplished Electrical Department Lead to oversee the delivery of FE and apprenticeship programs. This role offers a chance to drive curriculum excellence and support the Head of School in providing an outstanding learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Electrical Department provision, ensuring effective curriculum delivery and high-quality education.
- Develop and implement curriculum initiatives to promote student success and academic excellence.
- Collaborate with the central team to provide work experience opportunities and develop timetables that meet departmental needs.
- Maintain excellent teaching and pastoral skills, with a proven track record of good student outcomes and strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of government policy within the curriculum and evidence-based teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Excellent communication and innovative ideas around curriculum development.
- A history of successful teaching and/or pastoral experience, with a strong focus on promoting student success.
