About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Class Technician to join our team at Treloar College. As a Class Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, who are physically disabled young people. Your primary responsibility will be to cover and lead lessons for the tutor, prepare and organize equipment and materials in the classroom, and provide support to students in all aspects of their learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students across a range of ability levels
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Prepare and organize equipment and materials in the classroom
  • Provide individualized support to students
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to achieve student outcomes
Requirements
  • GCSE level C or above (or equivalent) in Maths & English
  • Relevant level 3 qualification in care and/or education
  • Commitment to achieving a level 4 teaching and learning qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
