Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity within our Commercial Department for a seasoned Category Insight Manager to drive profitable growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Relations: Foster exceptional relationships with customers by providing best-in-class category management, positioning Stateside Foods as a Category Captain where applicable.
  2. Category Scorecard and Updates: Prepare and deliver monthly scorecards and market updates internally and externally, often presenting off-site and at customer head offices. Travel flexibility is key.
  3. Research and Analysis: Manage the supply of category research requirements with agencies and present findings both internally and externally.
  4. Brandbank and NPD Management: Oversee the Brandbank process alongside New Product Development.
  5. Space and Merchandising Layouts: Analyze and make recommendations on macro space and merchandising layouts aligned with the category vision and customer decision tree.
  6. Promotion Effectiveness: Review promotions' effectiveness and suggest future mechanics.
  7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within the Commercial function and Stateside Foods as a whole, offering assistance and advice to colleagues.
  8. Customer Support: Support customers with marketing activities driving category sales and growth.
  9. Internal and External Partnerships: Engage with internal and external colleagues to create positive working networks.
  10. Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data effectively in ad-hoc projects to help customers make informed decisions for the market and customer.
