About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator II to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for capping and labelling liquid reagents into various bottle types using automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capping and labelling liquid reagents into various bottle types using automated equipment
  • Printing labels and affixing them to components using automated labelling machines and by hand
  • Completing written documentation, including calculations and quality checks
  • Performing routine maintenance and calibrations on equipment as directed
  • Collecting raw materials from and returning filled components to cold storage
  • Advising the supervisor of equipment faults and any out-of-specification events
  • Some lifting up to 10kg may be required in this role
Requirements
  • Experience working in the pharma, healthcare, food, or similar industry
  • GCSE Maths, English, and Science (or equivalent)
  • Experience of following written quality procedures and working practices, including GMP
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of using computerised systems
  • Flexibility to the needs of the business, working out of hours if and when required
  • Training will be provided as required
