HGV Class 1 Driver Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Pertemps Birmingham Industrial. As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods to and from local manufacturing plants and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect goods to and from local manufacturing plants and suppliers
  • Work on a part-time basis, with ad-hoc shifts, mainly afternoons and nights
  • Operate curtain-sided trailers and make sequenced time-critical deliveries locally
  • Be flexible with working days and occasional overtime
Requirements:
  • Valid CE Licence held for at least 12 months
  • Valid CPC and Digi tacho card
  • Flexibility to undertake additional days/runs at the customer's request
  • Commitment to an ongoing part-time role
