Creature Supervisor

The Creature Supervisor oversees the development of all manner of CG creatures from design and build stage to final render. This role is key in ensuring high-quality results are delivered through technical and creative challenges.

They will communicate with other departments, ensuring effective collaboration between Creature TDs and related teams within the pipeline. A key aspect of their role is leading and mentoring their team to improve departmental efficiency and implementing challenging work themselves.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development of CG creatures from design to final render.
  • Supervise the pipeline and provide direction on architecture and methods.
  • Ensure effective collaboration between Creature TDs and related teams.
  • Lead and mentor a team through technical and creative challenges.
Requirements:
  • Proven high-end feature film VFX experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of creature specialization.
  • Familiarity with Maya and pipeline issues.
  • Strong leadership qualities and experience supervising teams.
Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $220,000 per year.
