Lean Manufacturing Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Lean Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Hunter Selection. In this role, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations.

About the Role: As a Continuous Improvement Lead, you will play a key part in our company's efforts to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. Your expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles, including Lean, 6 Sigma, and Kaizen, will be instrumental in identifying and implementing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead projects to drive headcount savings and cost reductions
  
• Facilitate the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and employee involvement
  
• Design and test solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste
  
• Drive functional projects, identifying risks, issues, and benefits
  
• Perform workplace audits and process mapping
  
• Support the risk assessment process and develop a CIL and AM schedule for production lines
  
• Introduce 5S practices and audits in all areas
  
• Analyze and eliminate non-added value tasks and reduce the 8 wastes
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• Recognized qualification or demonstrable experience in implementing Lean/6 Sigma
  
• Experience of Lean Manufacturing principles in a manufacturing or similar environment
  
• Experience of factory design, layout, machine operation, facility process flow, and continuous improvement
  
• Experience in managing CapEx projects
  
• Desirable: experience in delivering CI training and detailed knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques and processes
  
• Exceptional ability to conceptualize large projects and foresee challenges and needs to be addressed
