Senior Group Reporting Manager

A leading retailer is seeking a Senior Group Reporting Manager to join its finance function.

This role provides support to the Group Financial Controller, acting as a contact for divisional commercial finance teams on all accounting and reporting matters.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Accounting and reporting expertise for key Group level items and judgements
  • Key business partner and lead group finance representative on project teams
  • Provision of technical accounting advice to support investments and new business initiatives
  • Group level review of weekly Financial Headlines report used by the Executive committee
  • Delivery of certain subsidiary statutory accounts, including engagement and review with directors
  • Development of best methods and improvements for internal and external financial reporting processes, focusing on automation and data analytics
  • Assistance with preparation of Audit Committee papers on complex and judgemental finance matters

ACA qualified (or equivalent) candidates, looking for their first move from practice on a similar group reporting role, are encouraged to apply.
