About the Role

Helping Hands is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Care Manager to lead our Durham branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch to ensure efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer care.
  • Hold the CQC/CIW registration for the branch and ensure compliance with CQC/CIW guidelines.
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing team of carers, guiding them through the recruitment process.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive commercial growth.
  • Regularly review branch operations to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Communicate and implement policies and procedures effectively within the branch.
  • Support staff and carers with training and development.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need a Level 5 NVQ in Management in Care or be willing to work towards achieving this. Additionally, you'll require knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practice in line with CQC/CIW guidance, as well as experience in the care sector at management level. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are also essential.
