Job Title: Operations Apprentice

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Process and Pumping department as an Operations Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our treatment works and pumping stations across Yorkshire.

About the Role:
  • Learn about the full wastewater process, from collection to treatment and return to watercourse.
  • Operate treatment works and pumping stations, ensuring efficient and effective operation.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our corporate systems and processes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Yorkshire to achieve our goals.
  • Respond to alarms and incidents, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
Requirements:
  • 5 GCSEs grade C and above or grades 4-9, including English, mathematics, and a Science subject.
  • Full valid driving license with no more than six points.
  • Ability to commute across Yorkshire and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills.
  • Pass a medical assessment and complete relevant training courses.
