We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Music Tutor to join our team at MFSF. As a Music Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic success by providing personalized support and helping them achieve their musical and educational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Teach brass and woodwind instruments to students at a Grade 8 standard
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to cater to individual students' needs
- Work closely with students, parents, and teachers to ensure a supportive learning environment
- Participate in professional development opportunities to expand your instrumental skills
- Work part-time flexible hours to accommodate your schedule
- Previous experience tutoring or working with children is preferred
- Strong educational background and knowledge in the subject area(s) being tutored
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of each student
- Understanding of special education needs and strategies is a plus
As a self-employed tutor, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team at MFSF. We provide full administrative support and fee collection, allowing you to focus on what you do best - teaching and mentoring students. All successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
