About the Role:
Shaw Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Maes-Y-Dderwen, a highly valued provider of care. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our service users, ensuring their physical, social, and psychological needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess residents' needs and develop services to enhance their quality of life
- Champion appropriate independence and personal choice, developing, reviewing, and updating care plans
- Oversee all aspects of medicine management, ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored, and administered
- Build a positive reputation for the Business, liaising professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines, identifying, investigating, and resolving risks proactively
- Support, guide, teach, and mentor others in line with the NMC Code
Requirements:
- Ability to lead a team, analyse problems, and propose solutions or improvements
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Understanding and use of IT and communication systems required for the role
- Respect for the values, views, and needs of others
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload
- Experience of delivering nursing care within a mental health care setting
- Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes
