School Admissions Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated School Admissions Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Education Access and Support service, you will play a crucial role in assisting the duty to fulfill the legal requirement to offer children school places within timeframes.

Responsibilities:

  • To assist in the accurate entry of data and verification of applications into the School Admissions system.
  • To respond professionally to queries relating to School admissions.
  • To work with parents and carers to address and resolve any concerns/conflict they may have with the Council.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • Ability to use a range of computer packages and systems.
  • Knowledge of school admission processes or ability to learn.

A competitive salary of £24,054 - £26,845 per annum, alongside a range of benefits including Local Government Pension Scheme, 26 days incremental holiday plus public holidays, and discounted Child Care.
