Dental Hygienist

About the Role
As a Dental Hygienist at Time Dental, you will play a vital role in maintaining the oral health of our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental hygiene procedures, such as cleanings, scaling, and root planing. You will also be responsible for taking and developing dental x-rays, conducting oral cancer screenings, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. Additionally, you will assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid GDC Registration and an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene (Bachelor's degree preferred). You should also be proficient in dental software and technology, including SOE and medical imaging systems. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions is essential, as is excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients. You will also need to be able to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals.

Working Arrangements
This is a part-time role, with 16 hours per week available. You will be required to work Fridays and Saturdays. In return, you will receive a competitive hourly rate of £38.00-£40.00 per hour.

Experience
At least 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist is required for this role. You will also need to hold a valid GDC Registration.
