Job Description

Fusion People Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within our facilities is carried out in a safe, compliant, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned and preventative electrical maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Diagnose and replace failed domestic electrical components to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to our Safe System of Work.
  • Actively fault find and problem solve on domestic electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Undertake electrical installation activities in accordance with design specifications and IET Wiring Regulations.
  • Test and inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with current regulations.
  • Monitor and order critical spares for all electrical services to minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • Appropriate technical qualification, such as City & Guilds 2365 parts 1-3, BTEC, or NVQ level 3 or above.
  • Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at Work Regulations.
  • Capable of working at heights.
  • BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations, specifically 18th Edition.
Desirable Skills:
  • IT skills and experience in fire alarm systems and CCTV systems.
