About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sage City as a Compensation Strategy Expert. As a key member of our People team, you will be responsible for delivering compensation programs to aligned business functions. You will project manage compensation initiatives, including planning, overseeing external consultants, and developing communication materials.

In this role, you will own and refine compensation programs for the business functions (client groups) you will support. This includes leading compensation-related projects, advising senior leaders, and managing the full cycle of pay, bonus, and LTIP reviews. You will be a critical player in supporting Sage's compensation evolution, driving both business and employee value.

Key responsibilities include accountable for delivering compensation programs to your aligned business functions, project managing compensation initiatives, identifying and driving efficiency improvements while working closely with the Reward CoE to implement solutions, leading the execution of the annual pay, bonus, and LTIP reviews, ensuring budget optimization and alignment with the business strategy, collaborating with global teams to continuously improve compensation policies, incorporating local market insights, partnering cross-functionally with People Business Partners, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Talent Acquisition to address compensation needs and support recruitment and retention efforts, and supporting People Business Partners to ensure compensation frameworks are embedded and effectively executed within the business.

The salary for this role is £85,000 per year, plus benefits. Benefits include generous bonuses and pension scheme: Up to 8% matched pension contribution plus 2% top-up by Sage (8+8+2% = 18% total contribution), 25 days of paid annual leave with the option to buy up to another 5 days, 8 bank holiday days, paid 5 days yearly to volunteer through our Sage Foundation, 50% income protection, holiday buy + sell, comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, work away scheme for up to 10 weeks a year, ongoing training and professional development, hybrid working, healthy Mind app membership, and access to various helpful memberships for finances, health and wellbeing.
