Support Care Professional

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team, working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and autism. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a respectful culture, helping young people grow, mature, and achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating a safe, warm, and caring environment.
- Supporting young people in managing challenging behaviours.
- Promoting education, daily living skills, and individualised plans.
- Maintaining records in line with organisational regulations.
- Adhering to relevant legislation and policies.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience working with children/young people. Experience working with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs is desirable. You should be reliable, energetic, and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a team and manage challenging behaviours effectively.
Essential Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 6 months relevant experience working with children/young people.
- Willingness to complete a Level 4 Diploma if not already achieved.
- Compliant with pre-employment checks, including enhanced DBS, satisfactory references, and proof of right to work.
- Full UK driving license.
- Day shifts, night shifts, and weekend availability.
