About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a Senior Service Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of the technical relationship with customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency, and best-practice architectures.
  • Acting as an advocate for the customer to help drive continual improvements to AWS services, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features and services.
  • Helping to shape the future of the Solutions Architecture organisation by hiring, coaching, and mentoring others, and finding opportunities to improve the way we work.
About the Team

This role is part of our Healthcare team supporting our Regional NHS customers (ICS/ICBs and Trusts) and Healthtech. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and is committed to innovation and excellence.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
