Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students during short-term teacher absences and assisting in preparing the learning environment and materials required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during short-term teacher absences
  • Prepare the learning environment and materials required
  • Cover lessons of any subject using the cover work set by the teacher
  • Set high expectations to motivate and challenge students
  • Manage behaviour effectively and promote a positive learning environment
  • Organize the daily cover rota for absent staff and contact teaching supply agencies to arrange supply staff

Requirements:

  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Ability to maintain respect and confidentiality at all times
  • Highly motivated and driven individual
  • Ability to make a significant difference to the lives of our students
