Job Title: Senior CDM and H&S Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CDM and H&S Consultant to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Senior CDM and H&S Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering CDM and H&S consultancy services to our clients from our Birmingham office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver CDM and H&S consultancy services to existing and new clients.
  • Understand clients' needs and proactively identify solutions to their challenges.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of service excellence in meeting clients' needs and expectations.
  • Develop existing systems and processes to improve CDM and H&S efficiency.
  • Provide expert advice and act as Principal Designer as required.
  • Establish positive relations with existing and new clients to gain confidence and become a trusted advocate.
  • Represent Turner & Townsend in a professional and diligent manner.
  • Manage all commissions to ensure clients' expectations and Turner & Townsend's business management system are effectively discharged.
  • Carry out H&S performance reviews, audits, etc.
  • Liaise with SHQ and wider Turner & Townsend colleagues to contribute to team effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines.
  • Good IT skills to generate reports and documents.
  • Solutions driven.
  • Creative thinker.
  • Excellent client empathy.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry, specifically around the CDM Regulations.
  • Experience of a diverse range of industry sectors desired.
  • Experience as a Principal Designer desired.

Education and Professional Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • NEBOSH Diploma Level (or equivalent).
  • GradIOSH or equivalent.
  • Membership of the APS.
