Paediatric Anaesthesia and Simulation Fellow

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Paediatric Anaesthesia and Simulation Fellow at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing a high-quality elective and emergency anaesthetic service to our patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide a high-quality elective and emergency anaesthetic service as requested.
- Engage in clinical governance activities, including critical incident reporting, morbidity and mortality meetings, audit, and mandatory training.
- Arrange and facilitate regular Managing Emergencies in Paediatric Anaesthesia (MEPA) simulation courses and engage in other simulation teaching and systems simulation activities.
- Actively engage in the teaching and training of other members of the anaesthetic department and hospital staff.
- Engage with quality improvement activity.
- Perform additional management and administrative tasks as deemed appropriate to the position.
