Green Estate Supervisor

A key role for an experienced Arboriculturist and Horticulture Manager to oversee the delivery of our flagship TfL HMF contract. This position involves managing a team of subcontractors and developing a team of employees to ensure the successful execution of all aspects of Green Estate delivery, including cyclical and reactive arboriculture and horticultural maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing cyclical activities such as grass cutting, hedge cutting, weed control, shrub and planted area maintenance, annual tree & shrub surveys, tree planting, and any arb/hort reactive works.
- Ensuring the Operations Manager and client are kept up to date and informed of all matters relating to the delivery of the contract.
- Supporting clients and internal departments from the pre-planning and pre-programming of works through to their completion.
- Assisting in the application and management of the permitting process on TfL/Borough roads and liaising with stakeholders.
- Overseeing the programme management of the green estate core service works.
- Managing various sub-contractors carrying out work on behalf of FM Conway, providing task instructions, monitoring performance, and reconciling accounts.
Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced Arboriculturist and Horticulture Manager with excellent horticulture and arboriculture knowledge, as well as experience with NEC, JCT, and ICE contracts. You will be a NRSWA qualified Supervisor, with SMSTS and CSCS gold or above. A full UK driving license is required.
