Maintenance Work Package Coordinator

Location: Luton, UK

Estimated Salary: £41,500 per year

About the Job:

This role involves generating and controlling aircraft maintenance work packages to ensure regulatory compliance at all times. This requires a strong understanding of airworthiness regulations and the ability to communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To generate and issue comprehensive maintenance packages of work for production staff in accordance with relevant regulatory airworthiness requirements and departmental procedures.
  • To create and maintain master work cards/databases where required for specific projects, identify sub-contract requirements, spares and tooling.
  • To liaise with internal departments and external customers to provide clear and concise work instructions.
  • To generate and issue operators maintenance packages of work for production staff.
  • To schedule maintenance work ahead for predetermined customers.
  • To complete an allocation board to capture all aircraft planned for the next shift.

  • To assist the Planning Manager with daily operations as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 2 years' experience working in aircraft maintenance, production planning, or airline environments.
  • Experience in MRO IT software such as AMOS, OASES, Rusada etc would be an advantage but not essential.
