Job Title: Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Manager to join our team at People Group Limited. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a planning team and play a key role in the delivery of a significant construction programme.

About the Role

As a Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective planning and assurance processes across the programme. You will lead the planning of projects across all stages of their lifecycle, from concept to delivery and closeout. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement planning and assurance processes across the programme
  • Lead the planning of projects across all stages of their lifecycle
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are met
  • Manage and develop a team of planners to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver projects successfully
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Extensive experience of working on multi-year projects or programmes in the construction or infrastructure sectors
  • Proven experience of leading a team of planners and managing projects from concept to delivery and closeout
  • Strong understanding of the NEC form of contract and Primavera P6
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
