Physiotherapist Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.

Your main task will be to conduct thorough medical history reviews, perform physical examinations, and produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) to determine each person's eligibility for benefits.

You will work with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video, demonstrating sensitivity, compassion, and the ability to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medical history reviews and physical examinations
  • Produce accurate and concise reports for the DWP
  • Work with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video
  • Uphold best practice standards and maintain customer confidentiality
Requirements:
  • Continuous Professional Development present on CV
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
  • IT skills and experience of using a range of software
  • Self-aware and focused on professional development
  • Honest and able to maintain integrity and customer confidentiality
  • Motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect, and sensitivity in assessment delivery
