Electrical Engineer Job Description

Kenton Black is pleased to be working with a distillery in Inverness who are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and supervise the installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for industrial use within the hygienic process industries.
  • Ensure that all electrical engineering projects and processes adhere to regulatory standards, quality assurance, and control measures.
  • Maintain and improve existing engineering systems for increased efficiency and reliability.
  • Provide hands-on electrical support and troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
  • Prepare and interpret specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, HND, or HNC, preferably with membership in the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
  • At least three years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in hygienic process industries.
  • Demonstrated experience with batch process engineering and understanding of associated control systems.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
