About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Rebuild/Repair Specialist. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of CAT machinery in a large workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of machinery to identify areas requiring repair or maintenance
  • Perform diagnostic tests to determine the root cause of issues and develop effective repair plans
  • Overhaul, repair, or refurbish machinery to agreed work plans, ensuring high-quality results
  • Inspect and test completed machinery to ensure it meets performance standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a quality service environment, preferably in plant machinery or a similar industry
  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent experience in mechanical fitting, electrical, or hydraulic systems
  • Valid license to drive reach trucks and experience operating construction equipment in confined spaces
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
