Category Manager

We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our dynamic team at Kate+Co, a leading company in the Financial Services industry. As a Category Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating service providers, negotiating contracts and agreements, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize category performance
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure best value
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform procurement decisions
- Lead the contract process from RFP to award and contract management
- Coordinate with business, legal, and finance teams to ensure compliance and risk management
- Utilize procurement software to streamline processes and improve visibility
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and internal customers
- Support reporting requirements to ensure transparency and accountability
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in a related field
- Results-focused with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results
- Self-starter with ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly numerate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in procurement and supply chain management
- Commercial acumen with a strong understanding of contract law and negotiation techniques
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels, including suppliers, internal customers, and senior management
