Healthcare Assistant/Plaster Technician Opportunity
Spire Leicester Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Healthcare Assistant/Plaster Technician to join our established team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgical ward team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and support to both private and NHS patients.
- Assist the surgical ward team in the provision of exemplary patient care, including ECGs, catheter removals, and patient observations.
- Contribute to the support and monitoring of patients, identifying and reporting any significant changes that may affect their health and well-being.
- Assist with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies and provide personal care to our patients, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant/Plaster Technician in a hospital environment.
- Committed and motivated individual with flexibility to work a rotation of days/nights and weekends.
- Experience in ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures, and patient observations.
