Academy Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Lawn Primary School. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our school site, maintaining a safe and clean environment for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the maintenance and operation of heating, lighting, and boiler plant/equipment, ensuring all faults are reported and addressed in a timely manner.
- Assist with planning and overseeing minor building works and repairs, including obtaining quotes, liaising with suppliers, and monitoring service level agreements.
- Report on progress and provide advice to the head teacher and facilities manager on all minor building works and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations relating to asbestos, PAT, and legionella testing, health and safety, and undertake risk assessments.
- Maintain site records relating to health and safety, risk assessments, fire and alarm monitoring, and asbestos.
- Ensure the security of the school premises and its contents.
- Supervise cleaning and assistant site manager staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk assessment procedures.
- Experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
