Maths Teacher Job Opportunity

An exciting temporary Maths Teacher position has arisen in a vibrant school community. This role requires an immediate start and will run until Christmas, with the potential for an extension or even a permanent position for the right candidate. We are looking for an inspiring Maths Teacher who can engage students and make a real difference in their educational journey.

Key responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:

1. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging maths lessons across the curriculum, adapting materials to suit all ability levels
2. Monitor and support student's progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement
3. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment and uphold the school's standards and values
4. Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and positive environment conducive to learning

Requirements:

Essential Skills:

1. PGCE and QTS with a background in teaching maths at secondary level
2. A passion for teaching and a commitment to driving student success
3. Strong communication and organisational skills
4. Ability to engage students and foster a positive learning environment
