About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled chef to lead our kitchen team in one of our care homes. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the kitchen and staff in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality dishes
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for residents and staff
  • Work within budget to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Complete regular audits to maintain high standards
  • Manage stock control and inventory
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs to achieve excellent results
