About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Staff Nurse to join our dynamic Paediatric Assessment Unit within a forward-thinking and established nursing team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of children and young people with various medical and surgical conditions, providing fantastic learning opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be expected to provide relevant forms of care without direct supervision and participate in the supervision and teaching of untrained staff. They will also play an active part in the continuing development of the ward or department and contribute to the maintenance of an environment conducive to the delivery of high standards of patient care.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with post-registration experience, preferably within an acute care setting. They will have standard keyboard skills and knowledge of IT packages such as Word, PAS, and E-rostering. A teaching and assessing qualification is desirable.
