Enhance Patient-Centred Services as an Oncology Specialist
Location: Western General Hospital, NHS Lothian
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cancer of Unknown Primary/ Hepatobiliary Cancer Team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. This is a part-time opportunity with 14.48 hours per week.
The successful candidate will work closely with other specialties, including medicine and HPB surgery, providing cross-site working across NHS Lothian. A first-level registered nurse with experience in Oncology and/or palliative care is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement patient-centred services
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care
- Contribute to the development of nursing practice and policies
Requirements:
- First-level registered nurse qualification
- Experience in Oncology and/or palliative care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
