Operational Technology Security Specialist

Sword Group is seeking a highly skilled Operational Technology Security Consultant to join our team. As a trusted advisor, you will help our clients secure their Operational Technology (OT) environments, protect critical infrastructure, and mitigate security risks.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct site surveys to identify systems in OT environments, including offshore locations.
- Provide guidance on adhering to industry best practices and standards, such as OG86 and NIS.
- Conduct system and network security compliance assessments to assess vulnerabilities in OT environments.
- Facilitate risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in OT environments.
- Develop OT policies and procedures to reduce the risk of security breaches.
- Conduct audits and gap analysis to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Remediate OT to close gaps and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Provide general OT security advice to assist clients in addressing OT security issues.
- Resolve customer issues.
- Experience working in a consultant capacity or within an OT environment to establish roadmaps for improving security posture.
- Specialty in one or more of the following OT domains: Network Architecture, Inventory Gathering, Situational Review, Endpoint Protection, Policy & Governance, Standards, Education & Awareness.
- Experience developing content-rich final reports and associated deliverables.
- Experience presenting results to client stakeholders, including senior or executive leadership.
- Experience with cyber security processes, tools, and technologies, and extensive knowledge of best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Prior experience working in OT environments across various verticals, including Energy, Oil and Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and related industries.
- Prior experience leading assessments or evaluations of OT environments.
- Prior experience evaluating and assessing large organisations from the standpoint of OT.
- GICSP Qualified (Preferred but not mandatory).
- Cyber security certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, GCIA, GCIH, GCFE, etc.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and standards, including IEC 62443, NERC CIP, NESA, OG86.
- Any exposure to NIS would be advantageous.
