Job Description:

The Asphalt Plant Supervisor will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the asphalt plant at our site in Coleford. This will include ensuring the safe operation of the plant, as well as maintaining and implementing Standard Operating Procedures, risk assessments, and training staff on these processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team to ensure business continuity and reduce business risk.
  • Oversee all aspects of budgetary control for asphalt plant operations and produce operational reports.
  • Maintain and implement existing and new Standard Operating Procedures, risk assessments, and training programs.
  • Ensure the safe operation of the asphalt plant, including planned preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • Collate and report monthly performance KPIs for the Area Operations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Quarry Technology or related field.
  • Full knowledge of Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work Systems.
  • Working knowledge of production processes, H&S, and Environmental policies.
  • Strong drive for continuous improvement to reduce costs and minimize waste streams.
  • Strong IT skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office.
