Job Title: HGV Technician

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Volvo Trucks. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring repairs are carried out according to Volvo's standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Work on alternative fuel systems, including LNG, hybrid, and full electric vehicles
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals
Requirements:
  • City and Guilds, NVQ3, or equivalent qualification
  • Apprenticeship in the HGV industry or equivalent experience
  • Relevant experience in the commercial vehicle industry
  • Basic knowledge of computer software packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Salary of up to £18.50 per hour
  • £1000 joining bonus
  • Overtime at time and a half Monday-Saturday, double time on Sundays and bank holidays
