About the Role

Egis Group is a leading consultancy and engineering firm, delivering high-profile projects worldwide. We're seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveying Director to join our London office, focusing on business development and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead pre and post-contract activities, ensuring best practice, including cost planning, tender and contract document preparation, and contract administration.
  • Administer projects in line with Egis Group policies and procedures.
  • Oversee teams providing quantity surveying services, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and delivering projects within scope and budget.
  • Maintain regular client communication, addressing their needs and concerns, and representing Egis Group in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a similar position, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • Hold a RICS-accredited quantity surveying degree and be MRICS or FRICS accredited.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of bespoke construction IT systems, such as CATO and CostX.
  • Strong negotiation skills, expertise in contract interpretation, and excellent time management and organizational abilities.
