As a Principal Vehicle Artist at Lighthouse Games, you will play a crucial part in driving forward the artistic vision of our projects, mentoring junior artists, and fostering a collaborative environment. Your expertise in vehicle modelling, 3D software proficiency, and Physically Based Rendering techniques will be instrumental in achieving top-tier visual quality.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in vehicle modelling and texturing, with a strong understanding of game development pipelines and workflows. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading a team.

We offer a competitive salary, approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Other benefits include 25 days holiday, plus 1 day for your birthday and a Studio Shutdown between Christmas and New Year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Vehicle Artists in feature development and collaboration with other departments.
  • Pursue exceptional visual fidelity and realism through advanced techniques in vehicle modelling.
  • Mentor and guide junior artists to foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Contribute to research and development of new processes and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in vehicle modelling and texturing.
  • Proficiency in 3D modelling software (Maya, 3ds Max, etc.).
  • Thorough understanding of Physically Based Rendering (PBR) techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Track record of successfully leading a team.
