We are a cutting-edge AI company based in London, UK, dedicated to redefining customer support for the next decade. Our mission is to build AI systems that can act like humans, safely automating customer support queries in complex and higher-risk environments.

Our Tech Stack

We leverage a blend of familiar tools like Go and PostgreSQL, and calculated bets like Temporal and Encore. Our backend is deployed to Google Cloud Platform, and our frontend is built with and deployed to Vercel. We currently use LLMs from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Cohere, with plans to expand to a blend of models in the future.

As a Backend Engineer, You Will...
  • Contribute to the development of an "operating system" for future AI agents, ensuring safety, scalability, and rapid improvement of agent capabilities.
  • Design and build resilient and observable systems that deliver exceptional user experiences in the face of failures, retry storms, resource starvation, and other turbulent conditions.
  • Ship early and often, driving innovation and progress in the field of AI.
Requirements

We're seeking individuals who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of autonomous AI agents, motivated to be part of a foundational cornerstone team, and excited by greenfield projects. Ideal candidates have demonstrated experience building complex performant systems iteratively, hold "strong opinions, loosely held," and thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage company environment.
