We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Asset Valuer to support our busy sales department at V12 Sports & Classics Ltd.

With a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail, you will be responsible for conducting thorough appraisals of vehicles offered in part exchange, considering condition, mileage, history, and other factors that influence valuations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed vehicle appraisals using industry-standard tools and software.
  • Communicate appraisal results with the sales team to ensure seamless decision-making.
  • Drive potential part-exchange vehicles to identify mechanical issues and provide accurate pricing recommendations.

Auction and Disposal Responsibilities:

  • Identify suitable retail stock from part-exchange vehicles and recommend optimal pricing strategies.
  • Oversee the disposal process of vehicles not retained for resale, ensuring efficient documentation and logistics.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in vehicle appraisal or a similar automotive role, preferably within a sales environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using appraisal software and auction platforms, with a keen eye for detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively, meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Full driver's license, with a clean driving record.

Estimated salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
