Mechanical Draughtsperson

Job Summary:

As a Mechanical Draughtsperson at Morson Talent, you will be responsible for designing and delivering projects and modifications to meet business and site needs. You will work with internal customers to develop and define the scope of projects/modifications, providing a full mechanical and maintenance design service, including the preparation of drawings and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for internal and external technicians during the installation and commissioning of modifications or projects
Obtain quotations and place orders for specialist designs, equipment, and installation services
Liaise with suppliers to obtain technical data and support
Work with onsite customers from projects, production, maintenance, and support departments to ensure each design meets the requirements of the end user

Requirements:

HNC in Mechanical Design or equivalent
Experience of using CAD packages
Experience of preparing functional design specifications and engineering estimates
NEBOSH desirable
