Sales Development Representative

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Deliveroo's Regional UK and Ireland team as a Sales Development Representative, driving growth across all 4 nations. As part of this dynamic team, you will be responsible for signing up top restaurants in your area, improving our proposition for customers, and identifying ways to continue our fast growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurants across your region, ensuring a seamless onboarding process and high restaurant success within the first eight weeks.
- Communicate effectively with restaurants through physical visits, emails, calls, and social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology and showcase its benefits.
- Travel extensively, sometimes requiring overnight stays, to meet with restaurants, attend food meet-ups, and sample high-quality food establishments.
KPIs
- Sign at least 20 new restaurants each month.
- Ensure that 80% of signed restaurants achieve excellent performance within the first three months.
Requirements
- A valid driving license and a car are essential for this role.
- You must be comfortable with targeting and approaching new businesses, possessing strong negotiation skills to structure win-win deals.
- Commercial knowledge of the food delivery industry, including the economics of food delivery, is required.
- You should have excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to take ownership and work under demanding targets.
- Familiarity with the local market and a passion for food and restaurants are also necessary.
What We Offer
- An estimated salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
