Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of our data architecture and engineering roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust, scalable solutions.
- Design, build, maintain, and upgrade data pipelines and self-service tooling to provide clean, efficient results.
- Promote data governance through documentation, observability, and controls.
- Perform code reviews and promote the adoption of tools and best practices across the team.
Requirements:
- Strong background and expertise in real-time data engineering and cloud technologies.
- Ability to apply expertise to business problems to generate value.
- Confidence in taking a project brief and drawing out requirements, designing and building consensus around architectural plans.
- Experience with stream processing frameworks, real-time data streaming platforms, and handling and validating real-time data.
- Experience mentoring team members and colleagues.
