About the Job:

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team at JCA Engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial practices and be able to implement best practices to maintain and maximise the profitability and financial performance of projects.

About the Role:

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for taking full financial and commercial responsibility for a portfolio of contracts ensuring cost-effective delivery of contracted services and additional services within legislative and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive financial support to delivery teams to process monthly valuations, applications, forecasts, and variations.
  • Administer contracts assigned in a timely and accurate manner, including compilation and submission of End of Term (EoT) requests, variations, etc.
  • Evaluate financial performance and forecast costs, sales, gross profit, and risk associated with all projects assigned.
Requirements:
  • Quantity Surveying and/or Construction/Engineering Qualification (HND or Degree Level)
  • MRICS
  • CSCS card holder relevant to role
  • Leadership and management experience aligned with JCA's brand image
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with Document Management Systems, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Asta Powerproject, Excel, Anaplan, or similar packages
  • Minimum three years' experience managing construction project elements
  • Understanding of SME business needs and ability to demonstrate broad business awareness
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £55,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience.
