We are seeking an experienced M&E Cost Consultant to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our team, you will work on high-value projects, developing comprehensive cost plans, managing project budgets, and preparing contracts.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders, providing regular updates on financial status and highlighting any cost or timeline impacts.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate cost plans, ensuring forecasting and resource allocation meet financial goals.
  • Oversee project budgets, providing updates on budget variances to project teams and management.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, managing variations and claims.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 to £110,000, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, paid professional fees, flexible working options, and life assurance.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years' experience in cost consultancy, with a focus on estimating costs and managing project budgets. In-depth knowledge of mechanical or electrical building services, strong contract knowledge, and a commitment to continuous learning and development are essential.
