Jobit is seeking a skilled Ecological Consultant to join our team and contribute to the delivery of projects from initial design to final construction, ensuring ecological compliance and sustainability.

This role offers hybrid working options, excellent benefits, and a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum. As an Ecological Consultant, you will work closely with the project team to identify and mitigate potential environmental impacts.

About the Role:
  • Previous experience as an Ecologist, Ecological Consultant, or in a similar role.
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Ecology or Biological Sciences.
  • Experience of conducting ecological surveys, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and Phase 1 Habitat Surveys.
  • Possess 2 years of professional experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report-writing software.
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and Biodiversity Net Gain methodologies.
  • Experience with renewable energy projects and subcontractor management.
  • Protected Species Licence holder.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
